AEW Collision Main Event

Tonight on AEW Dynamite Tony Khan made the first AEW Collision main event official. CM Punk will team up with the AEW Tag Team Champions FTR to take on the team of Bullet Club Gold (Jay White and Juice Robinson) and Samoa Joe.

First Collision Main Event Match Made Offical

The event will take place at the United Center, in the hometown of CM Punk. This will mark the first time CM Punk will be in an AEW ring since he won the AEW World Championship at All Out in 2022. Following the event which took place in the Chicago suburb of Hoffman Estates, a reported brawl broke out following some remarks made by Punk at the post-show media scrum.

Following the reported brawl, Punk was suspended as were Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and other backstage personnel for their involvement. His future with the company was in jeopardy until talks of his return surrounding the launch of Collision. His return was formally announced by Tony Khan on a recent episode of AEW Dynamite. We now know that he will not only appear on Collision but be a part of the first main event.
