Warrior Wrestling will return to action for the first time since the March 25th show in Grand Rapids. Friday Night Lights will return to the football field of Marian Catholic High School on June 30th. The show will be the final Warrior Wrestling show at the promotion’s long-time home Marian Catholic High School.
Friday Night Lights Returns on June 30th
Warrior Wrestling Champion KC Navarro, Warrior Wrestling Lucha Champion Gringo Loco, Storm Grayson, Trevor Outlaw, Frank the Clow, WARHORSE, and Jordan Kross, have all been announced for the show as of this writing. More wrestler and match announcements will be coming soon.
This is the second iteration of Friday Night Lights. The first took place in 2020 and took place outdoors to comply with COVID-19 safety protocols. This turned into the “Stadium Series” in 2020 which returned for a three-night run in 2021.
The pre-show fan fest will start at 5 pm and will give fans the opportunity to meet the wrestlers before the gates open at 6:30 pm. The main card will kick off at 7 pm.
The football field has been the scene of some historic Warrior Wrestling moments such as Frank the Clown landing on the field in a helicopter and Joey Janela jumping off of the goal post through Frank and Robert Anthony who were laying on tables. Lance Archer also tossed Frank off of the top of the bleachers at a previous outdoor show. Anything can happen when Warrior Wrestling moves outside.
