CM Punk is set to make his return to AEW live at the first episode of AEW Collision live from his hometown of Chicago IL at the United Center. This will be his first appearance in AEW since his main event win at All Out 2022 and the reported brawl that took place backstage after the event.
CM Punk Will Return at AEW Return at Collision
His return has been heavily speculated. The talks picked up after the announcement that AEW Collision would take place live in Chicago. He made his return to the pro wrestling world at United Center during the “First Dance” edition of AEW Rampage. He won the AEW World Championship twice, but was stripped of the title after the Brawl Out situation.
Punk’s return will surely impact AEW very quickly. The promotion is headed to his hometown of Chicago Illinois for two events in June. One of the events will be the initial episode of AEW Collision which will take place live at the United Center on June 17th.
The company is also building towards its biggest event, All In which is set to take place at Wembley Stadium on August 27th.
