Taylor and Young Square Off
Silas Young walked away from Ring of Honor TV last week with a win over Marcus Kross. After the match, he cut a promo reminding everyone that he is the last real man in professional wrestling and in ROH. He was interrupted by Shane Taylor who was a force to be reckoned with throughout his history in Ring of Honor.
Taylor was the leader of Shane Taylor Promotions and is a former ROH World Six Man Tag Team Champion and ROH World Television Champion. Young is a former ROH World Television Champion as well. This match should be very physical and hard-hitting as both men bring a lot of strength with them. They are both also very well-rounded in the ring and don’t go to the top rope very often. On paper, these two are very evenly matched. We will see who comes out on top this week on ROH television.
Aussie Open Gets a Shot at Daniels and Sydal
Last week on ROH television Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydal teamed in ROH again to defeat The Outrunners. After the match, they were interrupted by Aussie Open (Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher). They laid out a challenge to Daniels and Sydal who are former ROH World Tag Team Champions. Aussie Open wanted to give Daniels and Sydal a week to recover as they poked fun at the age of the duo. Daniels and Sydal accepted, and we are set for Ring of Honor television this week.
Fletcher and Davis are both very well-rounded and although they are not rookies in the wrestling industry, they do not carry the experience in ROH or wrestling in general that Daniels and Sydal do. They have also been teaming together consistently whereas Daniels and Sydal have not tagged together regularly for years now. Daniels is well rounded and Sydal is not afraid to leave his feet. With Davis being the powerhouse of Aussie Open, this brings a very clash of styles to the match that should leave the crowd very happy.
