Lucha Action on Display

Warrior Wrestling 29: Arez vs. El Hijo Del Vikingo

Photo / Warrior WrestlingEl Hijo Del Vikingo won the vacant Lucha Championship at Warrior Wrestling 27 in January of 2023. He defeated Flamita and Rey Horus to win the title. He successfully defended the title against Black Taurus, Aero Boy, and Aramis to retain the title at Warrior Wrestling 28. Now he will defend the title in one on one action against Arez. Arez was part of the Lucha War of Attrition match that crowned Aramis the inaugural Lucha Champion. Now Arez will have the chance to take the title back in a one-on-one match. Both men are extremely well-versed in the Lucha style and have a dangerous combination of speed and high-flying ability at their disposal. Don’t blink in this one. This match promises to have all the fast-paced and high-flying ability of a signature Warrior Wrestling Lucha match.

The Warrior Championship is on the Line

KC Navarro won the Warrior Wrestling Championship the last time the promotion was in Grand Rapids. He cashed in his Warrior Wrestling medallion during the War of Attrition match to win the title. During the final part of the match former champion, Will Ospreay was one on one with Brian Pillman Jr. KC cashed in and pinned Pillman to win the belt. He has successfully defended it ever since. Now KC will step into the ring with Jordan Oliver at Warrior Wrestling 29.

The East Coast Ace will step into a Warrior ring for the first time since the 2021 Stadium Series where he lost to Calvin Tankman. Much like Navarro, Oliver is a well-rounded competitor with the ability to fly as well. One thing Oliver will have to watch out for is the involvement of FTC LLC. Although Frank the Clown, Trevor Outlaw, and Calvin Tankman won’t be at the show, Storm Grayson and Max the Impaler will be. Will they get involved? Or will Navarro go into battle alone? Find out on March 25th
