The Embassy was reformed at Death Before Dishonor earlier this year. Prince Nana returned to the promotion and took over Tully Blanchard Enterprises, rebranding it to the stable that has seen many ROH greats be a part of throughout the history of the promotion. Cage and Gates of Agony have looked nearly unbeatable since coming together earlier this year.
They defeated Dalton Castle and The Boys. Castle and The Boy won the titles at Death Before Dishonor where they defeated The Righteous. From there they had two successful title defenses, both taking place on AEW Dark / Dark Elevation. They defeated Primal Fear and The Trustbuster respectively before losing the titles to The Embassy tonight.
Final Battle has the potential to shake up Ring of Honor heading into 2023. With six title matches taking place tonight we will find out who goes into 2023 with momentum by the time Final Battle 2022 is over with. After tonight’s win, it is safe to say Cage and Gates of Agony have plenty of momentum heading into 2023.
