A Very Evil Danhausen Appears on Zero Hour

The Best Friends came into tonight without their fifth partner being announced. He also got some revenge on QT Marshall, hitting him with a spike after the match finished.

Konosuke Takeshita is All Elite

Konosuke Takeshita officially became #AllElite earlier today. Renee Paquette interviewed the newest member of the roster during The Buy-In.

The Elite Return and Rey Fenix Embraces the Hammer

The Elite returned to a huge ovation from the live crowd. They challenged Death Triangle for the AEW World Trios Titles, the titles that The Elite never lost. As Kenny Omega was about to hit the One-Winged Angle on Rey Fenix, he finally used the hammer that PAC has been trying to encourage him to use. This left Omega staring at the lights as Fenix picked up the win.

Saraya Wins Her Return Match

With her brother at ringside Saraya won her first match in five years. She was visibly emotional during her entrance and at the conclusion of the match. Britt Baker did everything she could to attack the previously injured neck of Saraya, but it wasn’t enough for the doctor to get the win.

#AndNEW: Samoa Joe Wins TNT Championship

The current Ring of Honor Television Champion Samoa Joe captured the TNT Championship. With Wardlow looking like he was going to pin Powerhouse Hobbs for the win, Joe cracked Wardlow with the title belt. He quickly pinned Hobbs to get the win. Wardlow lost the belt without being pinned or submitted at Full Gear.

Tomohiro Ishii Will be on Dynamite

Chris Jericho retained his ROH World Championship tonight. During a backstage interview with Tony Schiavone, Orange Cassidy delivered the news to Jericho that Tomohiro Ishii will be in town on Wednesday. He wants a shot at the ROH Championship which Jericho accepted.

#AndNEW: Jamie Hayter Wins Interim AEW Women’s World Championship

Jamie Hayter defeated Toni Storm to win the Interim AEW Women’s Championship but it was not without controversy. Rebel became involved in the match and hit Storm with the belt behind the referee’s back. Storm was hurt but it was not enough to keep her down. Britt Baker would get involved later, with Storm being outside the ring, Baker hit her with a stomp on the title belt. That was not enough to keep her down though. It took a shot to the exposed turnbuckle followed by a Hayeraide to get the win for Hayter.

Best of 7 Series for Trios Tag Team Championships Announced

After the controversial ending to the World Trios Championship match, a best of 7 series was announced. Match two will be this Wednesday on Dynamite and will go all the way until AEW heads to the Forum in California if necessary. Death Triangle is up 1-0 so far.

#AndNEW: MJF Wins AEW World Championship

MJF defeated Jon Moxley to win the AEW World Championship. It was not as fair and square as MJF promised it would be. MJF pulled the referee in front of him to absorb a blow from Moxley. MJF would go for the Dynamite Diamond ring but William Regal confronted him. A second referee hit the ring and was accidentally knocked out of the ring. Moxley had MJF in a chokehold and made him tap but no referee was there to stop the match.

Regal yelled for Moxley to get the referee, but in a shocking turn would slide brass knuckles to MJF. MJF hit Moxley with the knuckles as the original referee came to to get the win and become the new champion.

Full Gear Results and Analysis

The biggest story to come out of tonight is that the era of MJF has officially begun. We also have to ask the question of what is next for the Blackpool Combat Club? With Regal betraying Moxley where will the rest of the BCC fall?

This show also had implications for Ring of Honor. With Final Battle coming up next month it is very likely that Chris Jericho will go into the event as the ROH World Champion. Samoa Joe will also likely come into the event holding both the TNT Championship and the ROH World Television Championship. The next few weeks of AEW television will be key to the final ROH event of the year.
