Bully Ray came to the ring with his Call your Shot Gauntlet trophy in hand. Ever since he won the trophy, most of the IMPACT roster has been warning Alexander not to trust Ray. Ray came to the ring to congratulate Alexander on a great match and offered to cash in his trophy at Hard to Kill 2023. Alexander accepted the challenge in what appeared to be a sign of mutual respect between the two.
This did not last long as Ray attacked Alexander from behind. He then turned his attack to Alexander’s wife who was sitting ringside for the main event. Ray threatened to pile drive Alexander’s wife if he did not hand the belt over to Ray. Alexander complied to stop the attack on his wife. The main event of Hard to Kill 2023 just became very personal between the two.
Ray returned to IMPACT Wrestling at Bound for Glory winning the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match. He has been acting relatively friendly towards Alexander, even helping him fend off an attack from Honor No More at Bound for Glory. That all changed tonight and the coming feud promises to be very personal.
