Bandido Signs With AEW

Bandido is officially All Elite.

On the November 11 episode of Rampage, Bandido defeated RUSH in a first-round match in the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament. Bandido’s win was aided by John Silver who stopped Jose the Assistant, from interfering, Bandido capitalized by rolling up RUSH for the surprise win.

Following the win, Tony Khan took to social media to announce the signing of the luchador.

Bandido was reportedly offered the deal weeks ago following his debut in AEW and has seemingly put pen to paper on a deal.

Bandido is a former ROH World Champion having debuted for the company in 2018 and was featured there until ROH went on hiatus at the end of 2021. After Tony Khan took over the promotion, he also competed at the ROH Supercard of Honor in April 2022 against then-ROH champion, Johnathan Gresham in an unofficial title unification match.

In recent months, Bandido has been active on the indie scene, namely AAA and PWG where he’s a former champion. He made his AEW debut on the September 28 episode of AEW Dynamite to challenge Chris Jericho for the ROH title.
