Jeff Jarrett made his AEW debut on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite live from Baltimore Maryland. He attacked Darby Allin following his match with Jay Lethal which opened the show.

Following the match, Allin was beaten down by Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, Cole Karter, and Satnam Singh. Karter appeared in a Sting mask, shirt, and leather trench coat in an attempt to impersonate The Icon. The four were beating down Allin when the lights went down and Sting’s music hit. As everyone looked up the ramp, Jarrett snuck into the back of the ring and hit Darby with a signature guitar shot.

After the beatdown was finished, Jarrett grabbed a microphone and reflected on his history and his family’s history in the wrestling business. He reminded everyone that he is a two-time Hall of Famer and put everyone in the AEW locker room, production staff, commentators, and fans on notice. With his promo, he basically declared war on AEW and made references to his history with IMPACT Wrestling, then known as TNA Wrestling.

Jarrett had a run in Game Changer Wrestling earlier this year, culminating in a match at The Wrld on GCW in New York. He returned to WWE in an off-screen role before being part of Ric Flair’s Last Match over the summer. Jarrett made his intentions on AEW clear and we will see how things shake out for Double J in AEW.
