Stu Grayson Returns to AEW

Stu Grayson AEW Departure

Stu Grayson made his return to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) tonight on Rampage. He made his return to the promotion in his home country of Canada as AEW emanated live from Toronto for the first time in the company’s history over the past two television tapings.

Stu Grayson Makes AEW Return on Rampage

The return took place during a backstage segment. The Dark Order was arguing with Jose the Assistant who interrupted their interview with Renee Paquette. Following Preston “10” Vance laying out a challenge to RUSH via Jose, the Dark Order put their hands in for a team chant. One additional hand came in late and as the camera backed away, it was revealed to be a returning Grayson.

Grayson and Dark Order teammate Evil Uno tagged together before going to AEW as the Super Smash Brothers. The duo came to AEW in 2019 during Double or Nothing and were the first two members of the Dark Order.

Grayson worked with AEW until earlier this year when his contract expired. It was reported that Grayson and AEW couldn’t come to terms and he became a free agent. His last match in AEW was in April of 2022 and saw him team with Alan “5” Angels, Alex Reynolds, Evil Uno, John Silver, and Preston “Ten” Vance in a winning effort against Anthony Bennett, Brett Waters, Eli Isom, Jaden Valo, Kori Meshaw, and Mike Law.
