Wrestle Princess 3 Card - Miyu & Maki vs Riho & Noa graphic

TJPW is set to hold one of its biggest events of the year with Wrestle Princess 3, a sold-out event at Tokyo Dome City Hall headlined by the rematch between Shoko Nakajima and Yuka Sakazaki. Additionally, names like Riho, Aja Kong, Max The Impaler, and Ryo Mizunami are involved. Let’s take a look at the Wrestle Princess 3 card.

Styles Clash

Moka Miyamoto and Juria Nagano vs Arisu Endo and Kaya Toribami may be a clash of TJPW’s least experienced roster members, but it is also one of the most intriguing on the show. Toribami wrestles quite like the bird she takes after while Arisu Endo is good at just about everything. They take on a team of two women who lean heavily into their real combat sports backgrounds, Moka with Karate and Nagano with a mastery of Martial Arts.

This could end up being nothing more than a beautiful disaster but there’s potential here for these four to put on one of the most memorable matches on the entire Wrestle Princess 3 card.

Suzume’s Proving Ground

The last time Ryo Mizunami was in TJPW she stole the show in a match with Miu Watanabe that helped Watanabe firmly legitimise herself before becoming a finalist in the Princess Cup 2022. This time around, Suzume will be hoping to have the same kind of performance as she takes on the in-form Aniki.

Suzume has been bubbling away in TJPW and building momentum but she can’t quite get wins consistently, maybe that can change after testing herself opposite Mizunami.

 Kaiju Big Battel

“The Big Kaiju” Shoko Nakajima aims to defend her Princess of Princess Championship when she defends against Princess Cup winner Yuka Sakazaki. Nakajima has already successfully beaten Sakazaki in this reign but in the months since, Yuka has been on a tear. We’re not entirely sure who riled up Sakazaki but she was taking no prisoners throughout her run to Princess Cup glory and she’s kept that intensity going ever since.

It’s really a coin toss as far as who wins because Nakajima retaining would continue the trend of Wrestle Princess events ending with one of the OG three standing tall. Sakazaki however, has an affinity for spoiling the party when you least expect it.
