The main event for IMPACT Wrestling’s biggest show of the year is set. Bound for Glory will be headlined by IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander taking on former champion Eddie Edwards.

Eddie Edwards earned his chance at the IMPACT World Championship tonight on IMPACT on AXS TV. He defeated Steve Maclin, Moose, Sami Callihan, Bandido, and Rich Swann in an elimination match to become the number one contender.
Edwards is the current leader of Honor No More and is a former two-time TNA/IMPACT World Champion. He is also a former five-time TNA World Tag Team Champion with Davey Richards as The Wolfs. Edwards has also held the IMPACT X-Division Championship twice making him a triple crown champion in TNA/IMPACT.
Josh Alexander became IMPACT World Champion at Rebellion earlier this year when he defeated Moose. Alexander has since defended the title against Moose, Tomohiro Ishii, Gabriel Fuerza, Eric Young, Aiden Price, Joe Doering, Jacob Fatu, and Alex Shelley. Alexander has been a fighting champion and has proven he is willing to take on anyone. Edwards will surely be a tough test for the current IMPACT World Champion.
Alexander is hoping to end this year’s Bound for Glory on a happier note than last year. At the 2021 edition of Bound for Glory Alexander defeated Christian Cage to become IMPACT World Champion. However, Moose cashed in his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy and immediately defeated Alexander for the title. Alexander is looking to end this year’s Bound for Glory on a high note.
