Danielson Interview
* Tony Schiavone asked a few questions to Danielson regarding Daniel Garcia. Danielson states that he doesn’t need to be 100% but to live 100%. Vows that he will never willfully stop wrestling, and would not leave this ring by himself.
* Interview is interrupted by Garcia, stating that Danielson is his hero. However, Danielson is putting Garcia through emotional turmoil due to the circumstances of Bryan retiring and un-retiring, as Garcia threatens to end his career.
* Danielson retorts by stating that he loves violence and calls Sports Entertainment b******t. Explains that he was interested in Garcia for Blackpool Combat Club after seeing him at age 21 wrestling 60 minutes as a technical genius, leaving with an ultimatum in which he asks Garcia if he wants to be a technical wrestler or a technical sports entertainer.
AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship: Sammy Guevara & Tay Melo vs. Dante Martin and Skye Blue
Notes:
A homecoming for Dante Martin representing Minneapolis.
* 612 Chants fill the Target Center (City Area Code)
* Cross body by Skye to Melo.
* Guevara interferes by grabbing Blue’s ankles,
* Martin gets the hot tag, Melo tried to run after Martin, Martin evades, dives onto Guevara.
* Martin uses Melo as a springboard to hit Guevara with a flip bomb,
* Melo hits finish on Blue after intergender moves hit by Blue and Melo.
Winner, and Still AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions: Tay Melo & Sammy Guevara
* Guevara calls out Eddie Kingston and accepts his challenge at All Out.
* Kingston responds alongside Ruby Soho and Ortiz, with Guevara and Kingston being set for All Out, Sept 4.
Sonny Kiss vs. Parker Boudreaux
* Boudreaux hits finisher after recapturing momentum following a handspring slap.
Winner: Parker Boudreaux
Gunn Club (Austin & Colton with Billy Gunn) vs. Danhausen & Erick Redbeard
* Danhausen gets a variated tarantula rope submission.
* Gunn club gain control after Billy’s interference.
* Danhausen takes most of the heat of the match until a Redbeard hot tag.
* Rebeard is neutralized and gets Danhausen back in
* With interference from Billy taking Redbeard out of the ring, a Famasser finisher gets the win
Winner: Austin and Colton Gunn
* Billy showcased his disappointment, remarking that no wonder the crowd calls them a** boys and how he misses The Acclaimed. Billy tells his sons there’s a match for them on Dynamite to prove themselves. After Billy leaves, Stokley Hathaway was shown in the crowd attempting to give them his business card, planting potential seeds of a Hathaway super group/faction.
Tony Schiavone interviews HOOK
* As Schiovane interviews HOOK, Zack Clayton calls out HOOK and challenges for the FTW Championship on Rampage next Friday.
Mark Henry interviews Trustbusters and Best Friends, prior to the Main Event.
Ariya Daivari vs. Orange Cassidy
* Ariya tries to convince Cassidy to join the Trustbusters while getting hometown heat.
* Orange lays down, starts to roll around, teasing the pocket spot, then the Friends hug.
* Puts hands in pocket to get out of hold, hits drop kick to signature kip-up.
* Trustbusters interfere to bring momentum towards Daivari as J and Boudreaux continuously interfere in the match.
* Cassidy breaks out of sleeperhold after put hands in pockets to power back up.
* Cassidy hits crossbody to avoid Daivari superplex.
* Then a double down after multiple reversals and attacks.
* Light kicks to a super kick by Cassidy
* Orange Punch reversed to a uranage by Daivari.
* Boudreaux tried to attack Taylor and Trent but Cassidy saved them with a dive
* Orange Punch hit by Cassidy for the pinfall victory.
Winner: Orange Cassidy
* Parker attacks Best Friends post-match but Cassidy stands up to Boudreaux, Sonny Kiss would originally stand with Cassidy but turns on Cassidy with a low bow, Sonny Kiss is now a member of the Truthbusters.
