The last Ring of Honor pay-per-view from Ring of Honor was Supercard of Honor 2022. The show saw many title changes and the surprise return of Samoa Joe to Ring of Honor. The initial graphic shows current Ring of Honor champions Jonathan Gresham, FTR, Mercedes Martinez, Wheeler Yuta, and Samoa Joe implying that they will be defending their respective titles at the event.
Former champion Jay Lethal who attacked Jonathan Gresham after his match at Supercard of Honor is also featured on the graphic. Lethal has been locked in a feud with Samoa Joe on AEW since the end of Supercard of Honor.
This will be the 19th Death Before Dishonor in ROH history. Last year’s edition saw Bandido retain his ROH World Championship in a four-way elimination match that also included Brody King, EC3, and Flamita. The show also saw Rok–C defeat Miranda Alize to win the ROH Women’s World Championship tournament and be crowned the inaugural ROH Women’s World Champion.
