Davey Richards Returns to IMPACT Wrestling at Slammiversary
Richards joined the team of Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Frankie Kazarian, and Nick Aldis. The team was created when Kazarian returned to IMPACT Wrestling to take Sabin on in a singles match. Honor No More interfered in the match and continued to make things difficult for IMPACT Wrestling. They attacked Rhino who had to be taken to a hospital. Scott D’Amore encouraged Sabin, Shelley, and Kazarian to find two more members and take on Honor No More at Slammiversary.
Nick Aldis was added to the team on the final IMPACT on AXS TV before Slammiversary. Richards was the surprise fifth member that rounded out the team.
Richards has a lot of history with Eddie Edwards who is the leader of Honor No More. Richards and Edwards were known as The Wolves during their time together in IMPACT Wrestling. The duo held the TNA Tag Team Championships five times during their tenure in IMPACT Wrestling. They feuded with each other in IMPACT after the team broke up.
Richards was last seen in an IMPACT ring in 2017 when he tagged with Sammy Guevara in a losing effort against Drago and Taiji Ishimori.
