This weekend, Pro Wrestling EVE hosted the She-1 2022 tournament. Over the course of two days, four events took place featuring a collection of some of the best women’s wrestlers around the world. This year’s She-1 featured three blocks with four competitors each. Block A included VENY, Rhio, Sky Smitson, and Alex Windsor, Block B was comprised of Kasey, Rhea O’Reilly, Laura Di Matteo, and Jetta, and finally, Charlie Morgan, Takumi Iroha, Emersyn Jayne, and All Elite Wrestling’s own Jamie Hayter made up Block C. Emerging victorious over the competition was Alex Windsor, who not only won the 2022 She-1 but issued a challenge to one of the most recognizable names in women’s wrestling today.

Alex Windsor Wins She-1 2022
What to Know Following Women’s Tournament Victory
As a member of Block A, Alex Windsor competed valiantly in this year’s She-1. Though she fell to Sky Smitson in her first match, Windsor was able to bounce back with victories against Rhio and VENY, the latter match being one of the most well-received of the night. In the finals, Windsor met Emersyn Jayne, who went into this match undefeated in the tournament. Despite this, Jayne was unable to secure a victory against her Block A opponent. Shortly after her victory, Windsor challenged Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling star Maki Itoh for the International Princess Championship. This match will take place on July 9 at TJPW’s Summer Sun Princess ’22 event. It’s also worth noting that Windsor challenged for the EVE International Championship, which is currently held by Laura Di Matteo.
Hailing from Norfolk, England, Alex Windsor boasts over a decade of wrestling experience. She began her training under the Knight family, former WWE Superstar Paige being a member of said family, but it wasn’t long until she took her work elsewhere. She has been a regular competitor for not only EVE but Bellatrix Female Warriors, Southside Wrestling Entertainment, and other promotions based in the United Kingdom. Currently, Windsor is RevPro’s Undisputed British Women’s Champion and Wrestle Carnival’s Queen of the Carnival Champion, though based on her She-1 victory, it goes without saying that she aims to add more gold to her collection.
