Warrior Wrestling 23 Full Card
Dante Leon and Myron Reed vs. Violence is Forever
Dante Leon and Myron Reed have become regulars for Warrior Wrestling over the past few months. They were both parts of the main event of Warrior Wrestling 20 which saw Reed team with Trey Miguel and Leon with Arez in a match against Top Flight. Now they will welcome Violence is Forever back to Warrior Wrestling in a tag team match in Grand Rapids. Reed and Leon will need to rely on their speed and high-flying ability to take on the technical wrestling ability and physicality of Top Flight. The contrast of styles should lead to a fun match in Grand Rapids.
Tootie Lynn vs. Chelsea Green
Tootie Lynn is coming off of a tough loss to Deonna Purrazzo at Warrior Wrestling 22. The Team Ambition member is looking to bounce back against a returning Chelsea Green. Green last competed in a Warrior Wrestling ring at the promotion’s second-ever event in September of 2018. She teamed with Britt Baker in a losing effort against Mia Yim and Santana Garrett. Green is looking to make her long-awaited return to a Warrior ring a successful one while Lynn is looking to bounce back from her loss last month at Warrior Wrestling 23.
Brian Cage vs. KC Navarro
This feud has been brewing since Warrior Wrestling 21. Brian Cage and KC Navarro teamed together against Dante Martin and Dante Leon in a losing effort. The apparent friendship began to deteriorate and things were taken up a notch last month at Warrior Wrestling 22. During Cage’s main event match against Davey Richards, Navarro interfered and hit Cage with his GMSI medallion which helped Richards pick up the win. This match has an extra stipulation on it as the winner will take the final spot in the War of Attrition match, replacing an injured Matt Cardona.
Warrior Wrestling 23 Title Match: Warrior Wrestling Lucha Championship: Sam Adonis (c) vs. Rey Leon
Sam Adonis heads to Grand Rapids to defend his Warrior Wrestling Lucha Championship against Rey Leon. Leon will be stepping into a Warrior Wrestling ring for the first time and would love nothing more than to upset Warrior veteran Sam Adonis and win the Luch Championship. Adonis has made successful defenses against Lince Dorado, Psycho Clown, and Aramis and would love to add Leon to that list. The two recently met in a tag contest at EWF as Adonis teamed with Brandon Gatson to defeat Leon and Misterioso Jr. Will Adonis walk out as champion? Or will Leon pick up the big win? Find out at Warrior Wrestling 23.
Warrior Wrestling 23 Title Match: Warrior Wrestling Women’s Championship: Athena (c) vs. AQA
Athena has had her issues with Frank the Clown over the past couple of months at Warrior Wrestling. His new clients such as Shazza McKenzie and Janai Kai have attempted to get involved in Athena’s championship pursuits. Frank and his protege Trevor Outlaw have made things tough for Athena over the past couple of months. She will need to get past that to take on the tough competition in AQA. These two All Elite wrestlers will leave it all in the ring for the opportunity to be called Warrior Wrestling Women’s Champion. Will Frank or Trevor get involved in the match? Will AQA pull off an upset and end Athena’s reign at just one successful title defense? Find out this weekend in Grand Rapids.
Warrior Wrestling 23 Main Event: War of Attrition Match for the Warrior Wrestling Championship
The Warrior Wrestling original match creation War of Attrition will return at Warrior Wrestling 23. Will Ospreay will defend his Warrior Wrestling Championship against Swerve Strickland, Jeff Cobb, Lance Archer, Brian Pillman Jr., Davey Richards, Jake Something, and the winner of the Cage and Navarro match.
The odds are not in the favor of Will Ospreay. The match consists of three falls. The eight wrestlers will be divided into two teams of four. Whoever scores the first fall will pick their partner and take on the other two wrestlers. The winning team then competes in a singles match. Whoever scores the third fall is the winner of the match and will be crowned the champion. Both Brian Cage and Brian Pillman Jr have won this match before at Warrior Wrestling 2 and Warrior Wrestling 8 respectively. Will one of them be able to repeat? Will Ospreay retain? Or will we have a new Warrior Wrestling Champion when at the end of the show? Find out this weekend in Grand Rapids.
