Alexander first won the title from Christian Cage at Bound for Glory in 2021. The title reign was short-lived, however. As Alexander was celebrating with his family in the ring, Moose cashed in his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy that he had won earlier in the night. He speared Alexander just as his family got out of the ring, and won the title.
Alexander was forced to leave IMPACT Wrestling shortly after by Scott D’Amore for him to clear his head. Alexander did just that and got his visa issue sorted at the same time. He returned at Sacrifice where he jumped Moose from behind and announced his return to IMPACT. Moose escalated things from there and went to Alexander’s house to hand a contract to Alexander’s child. He also speared Alexander’s wife during a show, further escalating the tension between the two.
Alexander has wanted to get his hands on Moose for a while now and was finally able to do so in the ring tonight. This win makes him a two-time IMPACT Wrestling World Champion. He is also a former X-Divison Champion and a former IMPACT Wrestling World Tag Team Champion.
