IMPACT Wrestling returns to pay-per-view following their stay at Wrestlecon with Multiverse of Matches. Four IMPACT titles will be defended on the card, in addition to the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship. Josh Alexander will finally get his hands on Moose after months of Moose’s mind games with Alexander. Taya Valkyrie returns to an IMPACT ring, the Bullet Club will be in action, and much more! The action will begin at 8 pm eastern time with a pre-show starting at 7:30 pm eastern time and can be ordered on pay-per-view and FITE TV. Taya Valkyrie Returns to the IMPACT Zone
Taya Valkyrie was last seen in the IMPACT Zone in 2020 when she was arrested for the attempted murder of John E Bravo. She made her return at Multiverse of Matches as part of Wrestlecon. Deonna Purrazzo had just retained the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship against Faby Apache in an open challenge for either the AAA or ROH Women’s World Championship. Purrazzo cut a promo calling out Mercedes Martinez who had just become the interim ROH Women’s Champion. Taya hit the ring and let Purrazzo know that she should be worried about Taya and not about Martinez. She laid out this challenge for Rebellion and now we are set for this championship match.
If Taya wins this match she will become a four-time AAA Reina de Reinas Champion. Her three previous reigns have her sitting at the most cumulative days as champion. A win here would also tie her with Faby Apache for the most reigns with the title. Will Purrazzo stay a double champion? Or will Taya add to her historical run as Reina de Reinas Champion? Alexander Wants Revenge
This feud is beyond personal. It all started at Bound for Glory when Moose won the Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy. He would use it later that night when Josh Alexander defeated Christian Cage for the IMPACT World Championship. As Alexander was celebrating with his family, Moose hit the ring and cashed in the trophy. As Alexander was trying to get his family to safety, Moose speared Alexander to win the belt. Alexander was furious following the match and was sent home by Scott D’amore until he could control his anger.
Alexander returned at Sacrifice and attacked Moose from behind. He announced that he had signed a new deal with IMPACT and was granted his request to challenge Moose at Rebellion for the IMPACT World Championship. Moose escalated things further by taking the contract to Alexander’s house and delivering it to his family. He then speared Alexander’s wife at non IMPACT show just a few weeks ago. Tensions are high and Alexander wants the IMPACT Championship but also wants to take down Moose and get revenge for him and his family. Will he be able to keep his emotions in check?
