Roderick Strong will challenge NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov for the richest prize in WWE this side of the Atlantic. Die British Heritage
Wolfgang offended Die Familie last week when he spoke about Gallus’s recent British Heritage Rules matches against Noam Dar. Charlie Dempsey was particularly wound up by Gallus members being the only people who have been afforded the opportunity to represent British heritage.
He, along with Rohan Raja and Teoman, make up Die Familie. All three share mixed heritage and signed with NXT UK on the same day. Dempsey will lock horns with Wolfgang this week.
Strong Challenger for Ilja Dragunov
Ilja Dragunov will defend his NXT UK Championship against Roderick Strong this week. Strong earned his shot at the championship seemingly by being willing to put up with the 10-hour flight from Orlando, US. He arrived in the BT Sport Studios in London and laid down the challenge to Dragunov.
Strong – who has experience holding and losing the NXT North American Championship, NXT Cruiserweight Championship, the NXT Tag Team Championship – claims he will show Dragunov what it’s like to lose a title.
It will serve as Dragunov’s biggest challenge to his NXT UK Championship after previously defending the gold against Jordan Devlin, A-Kid, Rampage Brown, and Nathan Frazer. Catch Dragunov vs Strong on this week’s NXT UK.
