Sasha Banks and Naomi Capture WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania
The match was fast-paced as Carmella and Queen Zelina did everything they could to stop one of the other three challenging teams from walking out of Dallas Texas with their championship belts. They were unsuccessful as Carmella was pinned for the championship much to the sadness of her fiance Corey Graves who was on commentary for the match. Naomi and Sasha Banks outlasted the former champions as well as the teams of Rhea Ripley/Liv Morgan and Natalya/Shayna Bazler.
This marks the first reign as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion for Naomi. She is a former two-time WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion. This is the third reign for Banks as a Tag Team Champion. Her first two reigns came with her former tag team partner Bayley. Banks is a former five-time Raw Women’s Champion and one-time Smackdown Women’s Champion. She is also a one-time NXT Women’s Champion. Banks is recognized as a triple crown and grand slam champion in WWE. They both will walk out of Dallas Texas with another championship to add to their already impressive resumes.
