This is the first championship in Ring of Honor for Suzuki. This is also the first title in an American-based promotion for Suzuki. Suzuki adds this to his long list of accomplishments including title reigns in NJPW, RevPro, AJPW, Pro Wrestling NOAH, and more.
Titus captured the title at Final Battle 2021, the final event in the last era of Ring of Honor. During Ring of Honor’s hiatus, he defended the title at UEW Ignition against Josh Woods in a match that went to a draw. This was his first defense of the title back in a Ring of Honor ring.
Supercard of Honor has been a newsworthy event as the promotion returns from hiatus and under new management. We have seen a new faction formed with Tully Blanchard, FTR capture the ROH Tag Team Championships, The Young Bucks appear, and more. ROH is starting off their new era with a bang and we still have a bit of show to go.
