The conclusion of one of the best Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling shows of the year so far saw a brand new champion be crowned. After a hard-fought battle in the main event of TJPW Grand Princess ’22, Shoko Nakajima managed to pick up the victory over Miyu Yamashita to secure her second title, the Princess of Princess Championship. Grand Princess ’22 was TJPW’s largest event of the year, taking place at Ryogoku Kokugikan with multiple titles on the line.

Shoko Nakajima Captures the Princess of Princess Title
What to Know About Title Win at Grand Princess ’22
The last time Shoko Nakajima held this title was back in 2019, when she won it off, ironically enough, Miyu Yamashita. The company is in a far different state compared to three years ago, so it’ll be interesting to see how she fares as champion with this level of popularity. Yamashita’s Princess of Princess title reign was incredibly dominant, having held the gold for 319 days. During her time as champion, she became one of the more viral stars in the company online.
This was the only title to change hands during the TJPW Grand Princess ’22 event, as Maki Itoh retained her International Princess Championship against Yuki Arai and Magical Sugar Rabbits, the team of Mizuki and Yuka Sakazaki, successfully defended the Princess Tag Team Championship against Miu Watanabe and Rika Tatsumi.
