NJPW STRONG: New Beginning USA Night 4 Full Card
Karl Fredericks vs. ETHAN HD
Kicking off the action on NJPW STRONG this weekend will be Karl Fredericks vs. ETHAN HD. Ethan will be stepping inside a NJPW ring for the first time in his career. Fredericks who was trained by the LA Dojo is coming off of a STRONG tag victory with Kevin Knight against Stray Dog Army. Although Fredericks is more familiar with a NJPW ring, ETHAN is no stranger to Seattle. ETHAN has worked with DEFY Pro Wrestling in Seattle, as well as Prestige Wrestling in Portland. Find out if he can add a win in NJPW to his resume this weekend on NJPW STRONG.
Matt Rehwoldt vs El Phantasmo
The Drama King Matt Rehwoldt takes on Bullet Club’s El Phantasmo in the second match of the night. ELP did not have a great time at this years Wrestle Kingdom. During the three way tag match for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship his loaded boot was finally revealed to the world. Rehwoldt has been vocally outspoken on commentary about the antics of ELP. With his secret weapon gone, ELP will now step in the ring against Rehwoldt at New Beginning USA Night 4. Will he silence the outspoken criticism of Rehwoldt? Does ELP have another trick up his sleve? Or will Rehwoldt prove what he has said on commentary? Find out this weekend.
NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship: Tom Lawlor (c) vs. Taylor Rust
Tom Lawlor defends his STRONG Openweight Championship against Taylor Rust in the main event of the night. Rust is a former member of Team Filthy. He was kicked off the team following a loss last year on STRONG. Rust returned to STRONG in what looked like a reunion for Team Filthy. The reunion was short lived however. Rust quickly turned on Lawlor and the rest of Team Filthy, declaring himself number one contender at the same time. This will be the seventh time Lawlor has defended the title. Will he walk out of Seattle still the STRONG champion? We will find out at New Beginning USA Night 4.
