Two more participants were announced for the upcoming Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 8 as Biff Busick will make his GCW debut and Janai Kai returns to a shoot-wrestling competition.
Formerly known as Oney Lorcan during his WWE stint, Busick was part of WWE mass releases back in November 2021. Since then, he has made one appearance in the Beyond Wrestling promotion and has now been announced as one of the participants at the eighth edition of Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport. It will serve as his Game Changer Wrestling debut (GCW) and he’s also scheduled to appear at Joey Janella’s Springbreak 6 the day after.
Kai is no stranger to the concept of Bloodsport, as she fought and lost via submission to Karen Tran at 6th edition back on April 8, 2021.
Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 8 will be returning during WrestleMania week and will take place on Thursday, March 31st. It is being held at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas and is a part of GCW’s “The Collective” group of professional wrestling events. It has become a yearly tradition for pro wrestling promotions to book events in WrestleMania week, due to the heightened exposure the sport receives as a result of the biggest event of the year taking place. Interest is easier to generate, more wrestlers are in town and tickets are easier to sell.
