All Elite Wrestling makes its Connecticut debut, as AEW Dynamite emanates this week from the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport. Let us preview the proceedings on this week’s AEW Dynamite as “The Mad King” and “Le Champion” finally have their long-overdue confrontation. Plus, the undefeated TBS Champions looks to earn a stack of cash and keep the gold around her waist as she battles the AHFO’s resident psycho lunatic. Last but not least, a Tag Team Battle Royale commences to determine the first team to advance to Revolution and earn a spot in the Three-way Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
AEW rarely ever disappoints, and there’s a lot more where that came from! It’s Wednesday night after all, and you know what means! It’s time to run it down.

Making That Money
Jade Cargill made it explicitly clear, last week on AEW Rampage, that she’s fond of being draped in gold and a lot o’ green. Realizing there’s an opportunity to be capitalized upon, AHFO CEO Matt Hardy struck a deal with the undefeated champion. Hardy himself is a big fan of making a lot of money. And, he proposed a match both parties could profit off of.
Hardy negotiated a deal for The Bunny to challenge for the TBS Championship this Wednesday night on Dynamite. Upon hearing of the offer, Cargill immediately agreed and set up the match for Wednesday. Jade Cargill is a smart individual, who not only dismantles opponents in the ring but also looks out for herself. She realized the potential of this match and jumped at the chance to face The Bunny with the title on the line.
The Bunny has the opportunity of a lifetime to not only dethrone the reigning TBS Champion. But also, be the first competitor ever to beat her one-on-one. However, Cargill is not about to release her stranglehold on the TBS Title and the AEW Women’s division. This Wednesday night on the mothership, the network’s title will be defended! It’s Cargill versus The Bunny, and it all goes down this Wednesday night only on TBS!
AEW Tag Team Battle Royale
Last week on AEW Dynamite, Tony Schiavone, in a backstage interview with AEW World Tag Team Champions Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus, dropped a major bombshell for Revolution. The titles will be defended in a Three-way match. Over the next two weeks, there will be a Tag Team Battle Royale and Casino Tag Royale to determine the two teams that will challenge the champions at the big event.
After the huge announcement, Jungle Boy went on to say that he welcomes a third team into the fold. Christian Cage hammered the point home stating, new contenders might be named in the coming weeks. However, once it’s all said and done, one thing will remain; Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus as AEW World Tag Team Champions.
This series of number one contender matches starts this Wednesday on Dynamite. Who will be the first team to join the champions at Revolution in the Three-way title match?
