This week’s episode of AEW Dark looks poised to deliver some great action with a total of nine matches. Wheeler Yuta, fresh off a great showing against Jon Moxley, looks to regain some momentum against The Factory‘s Aaron Solo. Powerhouse Hobbs looks to demolish Gus De Le Vega, and Lee Moriarty is set to face off against Anthony Henry. However, this week’s focus will be on Anthony Ogogo as he looks to land his big right hand against “Hot Wire” Tony Vincita.

Anthony Ogogo has been on a tear since his return to action in December, and he looks to continue that roll against Tony Vincita. Vincita will be a familiar face to regular Dark viewers; he had a great showing against Arjun Singh but just came up short.
On paper, this looks set to be a dominant showing from Ogogo, but I have a feeling Vincita will surprise most viewers. “Hot Wire” has the experience edge over “The Governor” and could surprise viewers by pushing the Olympic Bronze Medalist, if not pull off the upset.
Even so, I do see Ogogo being able to pull off the victory, but with more resilience from the self-described “functioning hot head” than the knockout artist is used to. Regardless, this will not be the last time we see Vincita inside an AEW ring, and perhaps we’ll see him coming out on top in his next outing.
