This week’s edition of AEW Dark will feature Wheeler Yuta of Best Friends taking on the arm-breaking enthusiast known as Penta El Zero Miedo. Viewers will also see action featuring “Legit” Leyla Hirsch, AEW World Tag Team Champion Jungle Boy, and Lance Archer, the latter of whom has had AEW World Champion Hangman Page in his sights. The Murderhawk Monster Set to Conquer
In action, on this week’s AEW Dark, is “The Murderhawk Monster” himself, Lance Archer. He made his return on the January 12 episode of AEW Dynamite, having been out of action for a few months following a neck injury. Archer didn’t waste any time, setting his sights on the current AEW World Champion, Hangman Page. Archer brutally attacked the top champion in the company, establishing himself as a future contender. Given that Page’s run is still very much in its infancy, one must wonder if said reign has a chance of ending with the intense “Murderhawk Monster” looming. Archer is set to compete on Dark against Joe Keys, who’s made several Dark and Dark: Elevation appearances dating back to last year.
Wheeler Yuta Battles Penta El Zero Miedo on AEW Dark
Also set for action, this week on AEW Dark, is a battle between Wheeler Yuta and Penta El Zero Miedo. Since his tag team partner and brother, Rey Fenix, went down with an injury, Penta has been competing solo. Two weeks ago, on AEW Dynamite, Penta picked up a victory over Matt Hardy. The brawling luchador aims to continue his hot streak, as a singles star for the time being, against Yuta of Best Friends. Those that have been watching AEW programming since the return of Trent Beretta may have noticed his cool disposition toward Yuta. While this may be taken as tongue and cheek by some, it’s possible that there’s more to the story at hand. In any event, watch two tag team specialists battle solo as Yuta faces Penta on this week’s edition of Dark.
