One of AEW Dynamite’s feuds spills over to Dark: Elevation as Team Taz members Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks will team up to take on Dante Martin‘s allies Matt Sydal and Lee Moriarty. Tensions between the two sides continue to rise and this match may see things reach a boiling point.
Stat Padding
The tag team division and women’s division are receiving some attention with a couple of talents looking to bulk up their win/loss records. Private Party, Men of The Year, and Santana and Ortiz are all set to win their contests and improve their standings in the rankings.
On the women’s side, Red Velvet and Leyla Hirsch are looking to add some wins to their columns ahead of their match at Beach Break.
Jordan Blade Debuts
There are a few faces making their first appearances in AEW on this show but the standout is rising indie star Jordan Blade. Jordan Blade caught the attention of the entire scene in 2021 having her most active year yet and competing in places like Paradigm Pro Wrestling, Game Changer Wrestling, Beyond Wrestling, and many more. She did so in a mix of hybrid and standard pro wrestling, the hybrid style sees her utilize a background in powerlifting and BJJ to her advantage.
Blade also regularly competes alongside Eel O’Neal in the tag team “Kings of The District”. Blade is receiving a trial by fire as her debut will see her take on the certified superteam of Thunder Rosa and Ruby Soho, both of whom are coming into this one fresh off appearances at The Wrld on GCW in the Hammerstein Ballroom.
