Satomura vs. Davenport

In a week where wrestling fans focus on Meiko Satomura’s homeland of Japan as Wrestle Kingdom 16 takes over the Tokyo Dome, “The Final Boss” will defend her NXT UK Women’s Championship against Blair Davenport. Davenport appeared at 2021’s Wrestle Kingdom 15 and created a big name in Japan with Stardom.

Davenport has eyed a match with Satomura ever since she arrived in NXT UK in July. She finally forced Satomura to agree to face her when she attacked her protege Emilia McKenzie and cut a promo in Japanese. There is little doubt Davenport will win the NXT UK Women’s Championship at some point. The only question is whether it’ll happen this week and at the expense of the legendary Satomura.

Tournament Starts To Find NXT UK Tag Team No.1 Contender

Moustache Mountain winning the NXT UK Tag Team Championship was one of the feel-good moments of 2021. Now Tyler Bate and Trent Seven have the titles they are looking forward to defending them against NXT UK’s finest tag teams.

A four-team tournament has been put together to find the first challengers to Moustache Mountain. This week, Oliver Carter & Ashton Smith will take on Symbiosis.

The winning team will take on the victor of Die Familie vs. Jack Starz & Dave Mastiff which is set for next week.
