What to Know About “Red Death”
Daniel Garcia is signed to All Elite Wrestling, where he first appeared in September 2020. The year after, the New York native found new allies in Jeff Parker and Matt Lee, collectively known as 2point0. This resulted in an offbeat dynamic, with 2point0 referring to Garcia as their “son.” Since signing with AEW, Garcia wrestled numerous high-profile matches against such names as Eddie Kingston and CM Punk. Wrestling fans quickly took to “Red Death,” praising his technical wrestling ability and submission prowess alike.
Garcia entered the professional wrestling scene in 2017. He trained at the Grapplers Anonymous facility, located just outside the Buffalo, NY area. In the years that followed, he wrestled matches across a number of notable independent promotions. Such names include, but aren’t limited to, Empire State Wrestling, Beyond Wrestling, and Limitless Wrestling. He won a handful of singles titles during his time on the indies. These include the Limitless World Championship, which he won from Christian Casanova, who NXT fans will know better as Carmelo Hayes.
