NXT UK This Week: Announced Card (11/25/21)

  • Sam Gradwell vs. Noam Dar
  • Jordan Devlin vs. Mark Andrews

What Next For Aleah James And Isla Dawn?

Aleah James is on a two-match winning streak thanks to wins over Xia Brookside and Nina Samuels. Having taken the best part of 12 months to get her first win, James is now learning that any sort of momentum comes at a cost.

Isla Dawn attacked her backstage after her win against Samuels. Kleptomaniac witch Dawn snatched James’ hair scrunchy. James will want to face Dawn in the ring to get her own back. We will either see that match this week, or the latest build towards it.

Gradwell Looking To Shut Down Dar’s Party on NXT UK

Noam Dar has been partying hard since winning the NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship four weeks ago. If he was on the Monday Night Raw roster, he’d probably have been renamed Party Dar by now.

Dar and Sha Samuels’ celebrations have disturbed Sam Gradwell twice. Firstly, they interrupted Gradwell’s sulking session after he’d lost to A-Kid. Then, they kept Gradwell awake, resulting in “The Thunderstorm” having to bang on Dar’s hotel door and ask them to stop.

Dar and Samuels refused to stop the party, so now, the NXT UK Heritage Cup Champion will meet Gradwell in the ring. It is still unconfirmed if Dar’s Cup will be on the line. Gradwell has been campaigning for a shot at the Cup on social media.

Jordan Devlin vs. Mark Andrews

When Mark Andrews won the battle of the nice guys a few weeks ago against Nathan Frazer, he seemingly became even nicer. Andrews chose to use his interview time last week to put over Frazer.

Jordan Devlin couldn’t bear to hear such a display of niceness and shot down Mark Andrews. “The Irish Ace” accused Andrews of wasting his chance to talk about himself. If Andrews can defeat Devlin, then he’ll ensure that NXT UK will end with everyone talking about him.
