Ring of Honor returns to television this weekend with ROH TV #531. The Television Title will be on the line as Dragon Lee defends against Dalton Castle. ROH TV #531 Full Card
Pure Rules: Brian Johnson vs. John Walters
Brian Johnson is the number one ranked contender for the Pure Championship currently held by Josh Woods. Johnson has been on a roll lately, defeating PJ Black at ROH TV #523. He also won a Pure Gauntlet match during the pre-show for Death Before Dishonor where he outlasted the likes of Delirious, Eric Martin, Joe Keys, LSG, and World Famous CB. He’ll be standing across the ring from John Walters. Walters is a former Pure Champion, holding the title once from 2004-2005. Walters appeared at Death Before Dishonor in tag action where he, Lee Moriarty, and LSG lost to VLNCE UNLTD. A win for Johnson would further cement his ranking as number one in the division. Trish Adora vs. Allysin Kay vs. Mandy Leon
After Rok-C captured the Women’s World Title at Death Before Dishonor a line quickly began to form to have the first shot at the champion. As a result of a number of wrestlers wanting a shot at the title, a duo of matches was made. Willow defeated Angelina Love and Miranda Alize at ROH TV #525 to advance to the next round. The winner of this match between Trish Adora, Allysin Kaye, and Mandy Leon will meet Willow at the Dec 4th edition of ROH TV. The winner of that match will go one on one with Rok-C at Final Battle for the ROH Women’s World Title.
ROH World Television Title Match: Dragon Lee (c) vs. Dalton Castle
Dalton Castle is currently number one in the Television Title rankings. He will capitalize on that ranking and challenge Dragon Lee for the title at ROH TV #531. Castle has racked up an impressive string of singles victories. He has defeated the likes of Josh Woods, Danhausen, World Famous CB, and Eli Isom. Dragon Lee on the other hand is looking to bounce back after Honor for All. He and Kenny King lost the ROH World Tag Titles to The OGK, making Dragon Lee no longer a double champion within the promotion. Will Castle enter Final Battle the Television champion?
