It’s only been a few months now since Nation Extreme Wrestling (NEW) emerged on the Canadian indie scene, but they’ve already created a buzz and entered the talks of being one of Canada’s top promotions and cementing its claim of bringing the best in Canada’s West Coast scene to prominence since their debut in Vancouver, British Columbia this past September. Now that they’ve had their debut show and followed it up with NEW 2, they have announced that NEW 3: Chase For The Championship will hold a tournament to crown the inaugural NEW Champion, as well as release the field of 16 competitors that will vie for the new crown of the West Coast.

The field of 16 challengers all competing for the NEW Championship features some well-known names from the Canadian and U.S. indie scene, with such names as former SHIMMER Champion Nicole Matthews, former DEFY World Champion Artemis Spencer, and reigning DEFY World Champion “Ravenous Randy” Myers, as well as Ontario indie star Mark Wheeler, the current Alpha-1 Alpha Male Champion who has also competed in the U.S. for the likes of Warrior Wrestling, Glory Pro, Freelance Wrestling, IWA Mid-South, and more. Rounding out the rest of the field are the likes of Sebastian Wolfe, “Golden Boy” Travis Williams, Judas Icarus, Elliot Tyler, Bishop, Miles Deville, Eli Surge, Adam Ryder, $hareef Morrow, Evan Rivers, Mr. Ferguson, and Anton Alexiev.
