Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) continues its trajectory of combining the best of indie wrestling’s past with those of its future, announcing on Friday that near 20-year veteran Jigsaw will be making his official GCW debut at GCW Blood on the Hills in Los Angeles, California on Friday, December 17, 2021. The event will air live on FITE.tv, but as of press time, Jigsaw’s opponent has yet to be announced. While this marks Jigsaw’s first appearance on one of the “main” GCW events, he actually made his first appearance for GCW during WrestleMania Week of 2019, where he competed – and won – in a Scramble match at GCW’s event, Orange Cassidy is Doing Something or Whatever Who Knows?

Jigsaw debuted in 2002 with the arrival of the promotion CHIKARA, where he competed right up until 2020. But while CHIKARA may be the promotion he’s most closely associated with over his 19-year career, winning the 2004 CHIKARA Young Lions Championship and being a 2x CHIKARA Campeonatos de Pareja (Tag Team) Champion (including one reign with current AEW star John Silver), Jigsaw was also one of CHIKARA’s earliest breakout stars. By 2004, he was also working for the likes of Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), winning the CZW Junior Heavyweight title in 2006, and IWA Mid South, as well as making his debuts with West Coast’s Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) and Germany’s Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw). In 2007, he made his debut with Ring of Honor and in 2009 became a regular with Dragon Gate USA and then EVOLVE Wrestling in 2010. In 2012, he began making occasional appearances on TV with TNA/IMPACT Wrestling – wrestling as Rubix – and in 2013, he began working regularly in the UK indie scene, with the likes of Southside Wrestling Entertainment (SWE), IPW:UK, PROGRESS Wrestling, Fight Club: PRO, and HOPE Wrestling, the latter of which he became a 2x HOPE Kings of Flight Champion.
Jigsaw’s announcement is an exciting one, joining a flurry of recent announcements following the recent news about Ring of Honor, that has seen ROH World Champion Bandido announced to debut for a series of GCW events in December, as well as the GCW return of ROH’s Brody King to the same LA event as Jigsaw, and AEW’s Thunder Rosa‘s GCW return to a Texas show in December.
