Daniel Garcia is All Elite, Signs With AEW

Daniel Garcia is All Elite

Earlier today, All Elite Wrestling President, Chief Executive Officer, and General Manager Tony Khan took to Twitter to make a major announcement. It was confirmed that Daniel Garcia, who first appeared for AEW earlier in September of 2020, is officially All Elite. This is just one in a number of notable signings AEW confirmed throughout 2021. The signings in question include, but aren’t limited to, Fuego Del Sol, “Legit” Leyla Hirsch, Adam Cole, Bryan Danielson, and CM Punk.

Now that Daniel Garcia is All Elite, as well as a full-time member of the AEW roster, expect to see more of “Red Death” on weekly programming. As mentioned earlier, Garcia first appeared for the promotion in late 2020. The following year, during the summer, he quickly aligned himself with 2point0, the team of Jeff Parker and Matt Lee. Together, the trio became one of the more entertaining acts in the company, 2point0 “adopting” Garcia as their “son.” Their first match, as a 3-man group, took place in a major way on the August 4 edition of AEW Dynamite. During this homecoming show, 2point0 and Garcia fell to the team of Darby Allin, Eddie Kingston, and Jon Moxley. From there, Garcia saw himself wrestle a number of big matches, such as against Moxley on AEW Rampage that same month and versus CM Punk earlier this month.

Prior to becoming a full-time member of the AEW roster, Daniel Garcia carved a solid career for himself on the independent scene. Limitless Wrestling, Beyond Wrestling, and Violence X Suffering were just a few promotions Garcia plied his craft. Among the few titles he held was the Limitless World Championship, which he won from Christian Casanova, the current Carmelo Hayes of NXT, this past March. Garcia successfully defended the title against such names as Jake Something and fellow new AEW signee Lee Moriarty before eventually dropping it to Anthony Greene last month.
