IMPACT Wrestling Digital Media Championship

IMPACT Wrestling announced a new title tonight. During IMPACT on AXS TV, the Digital Media Championship was introduced via a video package that aired just before the main event. A tournament was also announced to crown the initial champion. The finals will take place at Bound for Glory, where the first champion will be crowned. The tournament matches will take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays airing first on IMPACT Plus and for IMPACT Wrestling Insiders on YouTube.

IMPACT Wrestling to Add a New Championship Title

The first tournament matches were announced this week on IMPACT. The tournament will take place over the next month as the road to Bound for Glory unfolds. John Skyler will take on Zicky Dice and Hernandez will take on Crazzy Steve. Each week will feature two tournament matches. Four tournament matches will take place during “Wrestle Week” as part of the final push before Bound for Glory. A full list of competitors has not been released as of this writing.

The Digital Media Championship will be primarily featured on IMPACT’s digital channels such as IMPACT Plus, their social media pages, and their YouTube channel. This adds to their digital content library on IMPACT Plus in which they hold monthly special events for subscribers.
