Zayne was part of the final four competitors alongside PJ Black, Brian Johnson, and Flip Gordon. “The Sauce” returned with his signature fast-paced high flying style much to the pleasure of the ROH fans. Zayne and PJ Black were the last two men standing in the ring. They both went over the top rope with Zayne catching himself on the apron as Black hit the floor. Per the stipulations of the Honor Rumble, this return to ROH for Alex Zayne will soon be followed up by a shot at the ROH World Championship.
Zayne previously competed in Ring of Honor, earning a victory over current ROH World Champion Bandido at Honor Reigns Supreme in 2020. Zayne will have a shot at the winner of the four-way elimination match for the ROH World title, later tonight.
Alex Zayne will make his return to Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) where he was a regular competitor before signing with WWE. Zayne will make his GCW return on September 17, at Highest in the Room, against Jordon Oliver.
