ROH TV #520 Full Card
Angelina Love vs. Rok-C
Angelina Love picked up a victory over Max the Impaler last week on ROH TV via disqualification. Max locked a sleeper hold on Love while Love was on the apron. Max did not break the hold before the referee’s five-count, ending the match. This punched Love’s ticket into the semi-finals of the tournament. Love came into the tournament with a first-round bye due to her victory over Quinn McKay before the tournament kicked off. Love will need to get through Rok-C to make her way to the finals.
Rok-C has been in the ring for about three years now, compared to the 20-year career of Love. She has the experience disadvantage, but that has not stopped her before. Rok-C defeated veteran and former ROH Women of Honor Champion Sumie Sakai in the first round of the tournament. She defeated Quinn McKay in the quarter-finals to make it to this stage of the tournament. Find out who advances to the finals at ROH TV #520.
Miranda Alize vs. Trish Adora
The second semifinal match in the tournament will see Miranda Alize take on Trish Adora. Alize has a slight experience edge over Adora along with her jiu-jitsu experience. Alize defeated Alex Nicole Savoy and Alex Gracia to make it to this part of the tournament. Adora brings her rugby background to the ring along with wins over Marti Belle and Allysin Kay in the tournament. Alize also has a psychological edge going into the match as she defeated Adora in singles action on the third episode of Women’s Division Wednesday. Alize also defeated Adora in tag team action on the seventh episode of Women’s Division Wednesday.
Adora is looking to put her past losses to Alize in the rearview and make it to the finals of the tournament. By the time ROH TV #520 is in the books, we will know which two wrestlers will square off to become the inaugural ROH Women’s World Champion.
Shane Taylor Promotions vs. La Facción Ingobernable
Two top factions will be in eight-man tag action as Shane Taylor Promotions takes on La Facción Ingobernable. LFI picked up a major victory at ROH TV#512 in a triple threat tag match over VLNCE UNTLD and The Foundation. The three factions have been at war since the 19th Anniversary pay-per-view. They split their matches at Glory by Honor, dropping a street fight at Night 1 to VLNCE UNTLD. They rebounded at Night 2 to defeat ROH World Champion Bandido and Rey Horus in tag team action.
Kaun, Moses, and Shane Taylor retained their ROH World Six-Max Tag Team Championship at Night 2 of Glory by Honor. They also defeated The Foundation at ROH TV#513, giving them momentum going into this tag match. The winning team of this match will gain some ground in the current faction warfare landscape of Ring of Honor.
