The road to All Out is heating up and All Elite Wrestling is just fanning the flames of excitement for its biggest event of the year. Last week’s “First Dance” edition of AEW Rampage brought fans one of the biggest moments the wrestling business has ever seen. AEW brought back the “Voice of the Voiceless” after seven long years of being away. This just goes to show that AEW will pull out all the stops and surprises to make the path to their premier event a lot more interesting. Rampage is fast becoming a show everyone does not want to miss and this week will not be any different.
On this week’s edition of Rampage, #AllElite women’s action is upon us as a psychotic mistress of mischief goes up against AEW’s resident Brazilian martial artist. The World Tag Team Title Eliminator final will be held on this night to see who heads to All Out as the number one contenders. Last and definitely not least, the AEW World Champion will team up with his so-called “lackey” and battle the IMPACT Wrestling World Champion and number one contender for the AEW World Title. Alongside him will be “The Elite Hunter” in tag team action. The action is sure to be fast and furious. So, don’t blink because you just might miss something. It’s Friday night fight night. So, let rampage ensue as we run it down.

The Fastlane to “All Out”
AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and The Elite’s number one stooge Brandon Cutler will be in action on Rampage against the number one contender Christian Cage and “The Elite Hunter” Frankie Kazarian. Omega, along with Don Callis, was accompanied by Cutler and MT Nakazawa to the ring. As per usual, Don immediately got the microphone from Tony Schiavone and claimed that they will once and for all end Christian Cage. “The Instant Classic” already sensing a prolonged speech from “The Don” immediately came out. The current IMPACT Wrestling World Champion had a few choice words for Callis. Calling Don some very unsavory things for letting nepotism get in the way of true talent all those years ago in Canada.
Not to be outdone, Kenny went on the offensive saying that he was already way better than Cage even at the young age of ten. And, 27 years later nothing has changed. Adding fuel to the fire, Callis had one more thing to say to Christian. That at All Out, Cage will be experiencing deja vu. As Don claimed, standing next to Omega, Cage will once again be second best. The IMPACT champion took exception to this and laid his hands on Don before Omega got involved and they threw hands.
The Elite outnumbered Cage immediately and beat down the number one contender. Luckily, Frankie Kazarian went out to even the odds with a lead pipe in hand. The Elite immediately high-tailed it out of there. The action is heating up and tensions are high between Omega and Cage. It’s about to get even hotter as AEW has sanctioned a tag team match for this Friday night. It’s Cutler and Omega versus Cage and Kazarian. As All Out inches closer, the animosity between these two will only run deeper. You do not want to miss another preview of what’s to come at AEW’s premier event. Will Omega and Cutler reign supreme or Kazarian and Cage have their number?
Road To The Gold
Jurassic Express and The Lucha Brothers will have a showdown for the ages as these two teams battle it out to see who faces The Young Bucks at All Out. The World Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament has been a spectacular showcase of AEW’s elite tag teams. Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus had a great showing against Private Party on last week’s Rampage to advance to the finals. And, on this week’s Dynamite, Penta El Zero Miedo and his brother Rey Fenix fended off the valiant effort of the Varsity Blonds to set up this monumental bout.
This is all for the marbles, as they say. Whoever wins this match this Friday night will get a shot at Matt and Nick Jackson‘s AEW World Tag Team Championship. In addition, to even out the playing field, that championship match will commence inside the confines of a Steel Cage. That means no Elite members will have an easy time trying anything underhanded to give the edge to the Bucks. Two extremely talented teams, one shot at the gold. A “date with destiny” is upon one of them. Something’s got to give. It’s Jurassic Express versus Lucha Brothers this Friday on AEW Rampage.
