Officially All Elite
On the 23rd of July 2021, AEW fans were greeted with the news that the world-class competitor known as Thunder Rosa is finally #AllElite. Many fans got their first glimpse of “La Mera Mera” last year, in which she put on great match after great match. She instantly became a fan favorite. It’s no surprise that securing the services of the former NWA World Women’s Champion is very much a big deal. Rosa’s loyal followers, in her time with AEW, could not be happier as it’s promised that they will see her for the foreseeable future.
This leads to this Monday night on AEW Dark: Elevation, Rosa will be in action against a woman making her AEW debut in Myka Madrid. Madrid is a nine-year veteran of the sport trying to get her big break against an amazing opponent. Madrid has worked for promotions such as Reality of Wrestling, National Wrestling Alliance, and SHINE Wrestling, to name a few. She has quite a feat on her hands if she hopes to make an impression in her debut for the promotion. Will Madrid capitalize on the opportunity and pull out the victory, or will the recently signed star acquisition Rosa show everyone once again what she is really made of?
One Eye Towards The Future
The son of “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson has been quite the natural since his debut. Brock Anderson is coming along very quickly in his short time inside the squared circle. There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that this young man has a bright future ahead of him. Much like one of his partners on this week’s Dark: Elevation, Colten Gunn has been on quite a hot streak as well. This up-and-comer, under the guidance of his legendary father Billy Gunn, has been quite unstoppable. He is undefeated in AEW and there seems to be no sign of him of slowing down. Anderson and Gunn Club will be taking on Chandler Hopkins, Cameron Cole, and a debuting Izzy James.
James is an 11-year veteran looking for a company to take a chance on him and that’s exactly what AEW is doing. He competed for promotions such as ROW, Ring Of Honor, and, even has some experience in major companies such as WWE and IMPACT Wrestling. The stage is set for not only James but Cole and Hopkins too to make waves. There’s no brighter stage than under the AEW spotlight. Will the trio of youngsters get their time in the spotlight and pick up the victory or will Anderson and Gunn Club come out of the other end victorious?
