  • Tag Team Championships: Pretty Deadly (c) vs. Subculture

When Will WALTER Face Dragunov?

If all had gone to plan we would be getting the highly anticipated WALTER vs. Dragunov II, this week. But an intense press conference last week led to a backstage altercation and WALTER left the BT Sports Studio with a broken hand. We’ve been promised an update on when the postponed match will take place.

Fashionista On Supernova Sessions

Jinny and Joseph Conners will be the guests on Noam Dar’s Supernova Sessions. Dar is bound to flatter Jinny with some superficial compliments as he usually does when he has a heel on the show. Jinny will use the time to stoke the flames of her fiery feud with Aoife Valkyrie. The Fashionista has claimed Valkyrie is a weak and fragile little girl who was totally broken by her defeat to Meiko Satomura. Valkyrie may have already heard enough from Jinny so could storm the set. Either way, we will almost surely get confirmation of when the two will face each other.

Tag Team Title Match

Pretty Deadly has been rubbing a lot of people up the wrong way since they won the Tag Team Championships. They’ve excelled as arrogant heels who feel they have a right to commentate on any tag team match taking place on NXT UK. Former Tag Team champions Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews (Subculture) took exception to this and challenged the brash Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley to put their money where their mouth is. The Champs forced them to earn their shot for the titles, which they did when Andrews beat Howley a few weeks ago.

It’s hard to predict exactly how this one will go. There’s been a lot made of the fact that Andrews and Webster could become the first-ever two-time NXT UK tag champs so we could see that happen. But Pretty Deadly are very entertaining and back things up in the ring. They only won the titles in February so you would imagine it’ll be too soon for them to lose them.
