Ring of Honor returns to television this weekend with ROH TV #505. Two matches will take place, including one Pure Rules Match and an ROH World Tag Team Title match. Let’s see what Ring of Honor has in store for us this weekend.

ROH TV #505 Full Card

Pure Rules Match: Fred Yehi vs. Rocky Romero

The number two contender in the Pure Divison, Fred Yehi, will square off with number four contender, Rocky Romero. Both are looking to better their position and take a shot at the ROH Pure Champion, Jonathan Gresham. Yehi was recently victorious in the first-ever Pure Rules gauntlet match at ROH TV #497. Romero is coming off of a victory over Delirious at ROH TV #499, adding another chapter in the on-and-off feud between the two.  Who will be victorious and climb the rankings of the Pure Divison? Find out at ROH TV #505.

This Pure Rules match will have a 20-minute time limit. The participants are allowed three rope breaks, and closed fist strikes to the head are not allowed.  After a wrestler has used all three rope breaks, they can be pinned or submitted while holding or under the ropes. The first closed strike to the head gets a warning, with the second ending the match by disqualification. Competitors are encouraged to adhere to the Code of Honor, and any bout that goes past the time limit will go to a panel of judges to decide the winner.

ROH World Tag Team Championship: The Foundation (c) vs. The OGK

Tracy Williams and Rhett Titus of The Foundation will defend the ROH World Tag Team Championship against The OGK (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett). The Foundation captured the titles at 19th Anniversary and will make their first defense of the titles this week on ROH TV. They will defend against the number two ranked tag team of Taven and Bennett. The OGK is coming off victorious against The Righteous, The Bouncers, and the team of Beer City Bruiser and Ken Dixon. The OGK recently had issues with both The Righteous and The Bouncers, specifically Beer City Bruiser. With those distractions seemingly out of the way, The OGK can now focus on The Foundation and the ROH World Tag Team Championship. Find out if they can capture the titles for the second time in their career on ROH TV #505.
