Josh Woods vs. Silas Young
Mentor will face off against the previous mentee as Josh Woods and Silas Young are set to lock up this weekend. Woods and Young first faced off in ROH at Honor Reigns Supreme in 2018 with Young coming out victorious. The two teamed up with Young mentoring Woods from June of 2019 until February of 2020. From there Woods entered the Pure Tournament where he was defeated in the semi-finals by Jonathan Gresham. At Ring of Honor TV #494, Woods lost to Dalton Castle in a rematch from ROH TV#488.
Just as the match ended, Young came down the ramp and reminded Woods of how much he needed him. Young was in the corner for Woods as he took on Castle at 19th Anniversary. This ended their working relationship as Silas offered Woods a chair which Woods refused to use. Young in turn used the chair on Woods, costing him the match. The former tag partners now look to settle their difference on ROH TV #504.
ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship: Shane Taylor Promotions (c) vs. Primal Fear
Adrien Soriano, Gabriel Hodder, and Matthew Omen (Primal Fear) knocked off Dante Caballero, Eric Martin, and Will Ferrara in six-man action on ROH Week by Week with Shane Taylor on guest commentary. After the match, Primal Fear pointed to Taylor, calling out Taylor, Moses, and Kaun for their ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship. Shane Taylor Promotions will answer the call as the two teams square off with gold on the line at ROH TV #504. Shane Taylor Promotions won the titles from MexiDquad at ROH TV#492 and retained them in a rematch at 19th Anniversary. They are looking to make it two successful defenses in a row, this week on ROH TV.
