Fresh off of a series of hard-hitting matches at Hardcore Justice, IMPACT Wrestling makes its return to AXS TV tonight. Announced segments include Brian Myers and Matt Cardona choosing each other’s opponents, and a retirement celebration for Jazz. Let’s take a deeper dive into the action to come.

Pick Your Poison
Cardona and Myers, the former friends now turned bitter enemies, continue to feud on IMPACT Wrestling. They will choose each other’s opponents for their respective one-on-one matches this week on IMPACT. Ever since Cardona arrived in IMPACT Wrestling, Myers has felt that Cardona has been stepping on his toes. Tempers have flared as Myers has now turned on his once best friend. The former best friends found themselves on different ends of the win-lose column at Hardcore Justice. Cardona was not scheduled for a match but found himself taking on Johnny Swinger in a Mystery Crate match. This came about after an altercation at Swinger’s backstage casino. Cardona picked up the victory and made his presence felt later that night during Myers’s match.
Myers took on Jake Something in a Hardcore Blindfold match. This came about after Myers interfered in a match between Something and Cardona on IMPACT. Myers injured the eye of Something after sending him into the ring steps. During the match, Cardona brought one of the crates from his earlier match with Swinger. The contents of the crate were only known to Cardona until he slid it to Something. Something used the crate against Myers, revealing its contents to be action figures. This interference allowed Something to pin Myers for the victory. The former best friends will now choose each other’s opponents on tonight’s edition of IMPACT Wrestling.
Jazz’s Retirement Ceremony
Jazz put her career on the line against the IMPACT Knockouts champion at Hardcore Justice. She took on current Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo in an old-school rules match. Although Jazz fought hard, Purrazzo hit the Queen’s Gambit to score the victory, ending the legendary career of Jazz. As Jazz came to terms with the ending match, Jordynne Grace came to the ring to comfort Jazz and raise her hand one last time. Jazz will have one final goodbye tonight on IMPACT.
