As part of a slew of debuts on AEW Dark: Elevation this week the tag team known as the Mane Event (Jay Lyon & Midas Black) will debut against FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood). Midas Black and Jay Lyon were in town for WrestleMania Week as they competed for Generation Championship Wrestling against Culture Inc most notably which has potentially earned them this chance.

Lion and Black have been teaming together since 2018 and went by the name Golden Lyons in House Of Glory. They primarily worked in Pennsylvania Premiere Wrestling, where they are the current tag team champions, but they also competed elsewhere for companies like Violence X Suffering, FEST Wrestling, and Pizza Party Wrestling. In recent times however they have caught steam thanks to their performances in Camp Leapfrog, which got them a spot on Game Changer Wrestling’s Fight Forever event.
With Camp Leapfrog becoming a buzzworthy company and other notable indies taking notice of them the Mane Event could be about to blow up and become stars in the indies. They have a chance on AEW Dark: Elevation to showcase their talents and earn themselves even more buzz against FTR who will surely want to have a good match with the up-and-coming team.
