Sea Stars in Tag Team Action

Sisters Ashley Vox & Delmi Exo, aka Sea Stars, will make their proper AEW debut as a tag team tonight, having been working on the indies for the past several years. The duo have a number of titles to their credit and currently hold the SHIMMER Tag Team Championships. Vox debuted for AEW back in January, in a losing effort against Thunder Rosa, Exo made her AEW Dark debut last week, teaming with Vox and Vertvixen against Big Swole, KiLynn King, and the also recently-signed Red Velvet. Tonight will be the proper debut of the Sea Stars as a duo, taking on Vertvixen & Jazmin Allure.

JD Drake Gears Up For TNT Title Shot

JD Drake has been making a name for himself on the U.S. indies over the past several years, including winning the EVOLVE Tag Team Titles with Anthony Henry. While Henry signed with WWE, Drake arrived in AEW, debuting on Dark February 23 in a losing effort to Eddie Kingston. He’s bounced back since then, defeating Fuego Del Sol on the March 23 Dark, and is in line for a shot at the TNT Championship against Darby Allin tomorrow night on Dynamite. Tonight, however, Drake looks to build momentum for that title match when he takes on Baron Black. Ryan Nemeth will be in Drake’s corner, and Drake will later be in Nemeth’s corner when he takes on Fuego Del Sol.
