Leading up to this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Cody and Brandi Rhodes teased a special announcement. All Elite Wrestling fans wondered what the couple had in store. Were one, or both, of them set to take time off? Were they about to announce a new wrestling show, as an extension of Dynamite, Dark, and Dark: Elevation? The news was what many fans didn’t expect. Set to air on TNT, the Rhodes couple is set to star in their upcoming half-hour reality TV series, “Rhodes to the Top.”
According to TNT, this new reality series starring Cody and Brandi Rhodes will, “take viewers behind-the-scenes as the powerhouse couple manage their ever-busier lives inside and outside the ring, all the while surrounded by a colorful and often hilarious motley crew of wrestlers, family, and friends who both support and test them at every turn.” Among the events that the show will expand upon is the wrestling organization’s budding relationship with TNT, and their marriage, especially as the couple prepare to bring a child into the world.

Senior Vice President of Original Programming at TNT, Sam Linsky, expanded further on this news. “The world will get an inside look at how they balance their personal wrestling careers, their training center, and their executive roles at AEW,” said Linsky, adding that it would show the Rhodes’ doing all this all the while “as they venture into one of the most intimidating chapters of life, parenthood.” In addition to their lives as a family, the program will show Cody and Brandi Rhodes from a business standpoint. While Cody is an Executive Vice President and in-ring competitor for AEW, Brandi serves as the promotion’s Chief Brand Officer and on-screen talent in her own right.
