On Tuesday, the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) aired its first episode of NWA Powerrr since January 26th, 2020’s “Super Powerrr” episode just before the COVID-19 pandemic halted the nation. A lot has happened to the NWA since that time – some of their stars have crossed over to work with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), such as Thunder Rosa and Ashley Vox, while several of their featured stars have departed the company, such as Eli Drake to NXT (as LA Knight), Ricky Starks to AEW, and Tasha Steelz and “Cowboy” James Storm to IMPACT Wrestling. In sadder news, Jocephus – aka Question Mark – tragically passed away last month. The NWA returned this past weekend with NWA Back For The Attack, their first PPV since January 2020’s NWA Hard Times, setting up the return of NWA Powerrr. But at the relaunch of NWA Powerrr, the NWA revealed some new stars to the promotion, including indie standout Alex Gracia.

A graduate of Rudy Boy Gonzales‘ Texas Wrestling Academy in 2018, Alex Gracia broke out in the explosive Texas scene, primarily with Booker T‘s Reality of Wrestling in Houston, where she’s a former ROW Diamonds Division Champion. She also appeared for other Texas indie promotions like Anarchy Championship Wrestling (ACW) and Heavy Metal Wrestling, and in her rookie year debuted with SHIMMER, Shine Wrestling, and RISE Wrestling. She also currently competes for Thunder Rosa’s Mission Pro Wrestling (MPW) and has appeared on two IMPACT Wrestling specials. In 2019, she wrestled a two-month stint in Japan with Stardom and debuted with CMLL in Mexico. In September of last year, she made her debut with AEW, where she’s regularly competed on AEW Dark. Speaking of Dark, Alex Gracia pulled the “Rick Rude” on Tuesday night – not only did she make her NWA Powerrr debut against Kamille, but she also appeared on AEW Dark where she faced fellow NWA star Ashley Vox.
